Rights Auditor is a creator-operated media organization and evidence tool. It does not decide legal ownership, bypass platform protections, or remove copyright. It helps the account owner document a legitimate basis for using each file.

How the workflow works

1. Sign in to the private dashboard.
2. Upload an original, search an official licensed provider, or connect a TikTok account through TikTok Login Kit.
3. Review the source and provide ownership, license, or written-permission evidence.
4. The system checks media readability and exact duplicates, then places accepted material in an approved folder and uncertain material in quarantine.

TikTok integration

The TikTok Display API is used only after the TikTok user grants user.info.basic and video.list. It displays the authorized user's public profile and public video metadata. Rights Auditor does not treat public availability as reuse permission and does not receive raw video files from the Display API.

Important limitation

No scanner can guarantee that a file will never receive a copyright claim. Users remain responsible for verifying rights and following each platform's terms.
